 The Historic Royal Hotel is located at the entrance to the historic Lambie Street precinct, the site of the the original main street of Cooma. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the central business district, the Cooma Showgrounds and Multifunction Centre, Bowling Club, Motels, Caravan Park, the historic Raglan Gallery in Lambie Street, the Lambie Town Walk and the Southern Cloud memorial.

davidlevey.jpgThe Royal Hotel is a local landmark in the Snowy Mountains Region, constructed in 1858 the hotel retains its historic grandeur with its stone walls, verandah and attractive streetscape. Affectionately known as "Bundy's" after Mable Bundy who owned and operated the hotel for several decades.

Managed by Craig and Sarah Linden, the Royal Hotel is famous for the best beer in town, great food and a friendly atmosphere.

1858 to 2008 - 150 years of great service

outdoorseating.jpgThis year the hotel celebrates its 150th birthday and will celebrate this with various events over snow months. Whilst the Royal is the oldest hotel in the Snowy Mountains Region, the hotel has been renovated internally and now offers our patrons a better dining and accommodation experience.
